This policy describes how Currnt LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("Currnt," "we," "us"), collects and uses information when you use our platform, websites, and booking tools (together, "the Service"). It applies to charter operators who subscribe to Currnt ("Captains") and to people who book or inquire about trips through a Captain’s site ("Guests").
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing details. We collect information generated by your use of the Service, such as bookings, leads, analytics, and usage logs. We collect technical information, including IP addresses and browser information, which we use for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting. If you connect third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Ads, we receive data from those services as needed to provide reporting and manage campaigns.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, build and host websites, process bookings and payments, send operational communications (such as booking confirmations, login links, monthly reports, and reminders), provide support, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal data.
We share data only with the providers we rely on to operate the Service: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), Upstash (security and rate limiting), Google and Meta (advertising and analytics, when enabled for your plan), and Google Fonts (font delivery, which involves your browser requesting fonts from Google’s servers). These providers process data on our behalf to deliver their services.
Information collected about Guests through a Captain’s booking pages, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and trip history, belongs to that Captain. Currnt processes it on the Captain’s behalf to deliver the Service and does not use it for any other purpose. If you are a Guest and want your information corrected or deleted, contact the Captain you booked with, or email us at support@currntapp.com and we will assist.
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregated, privacy-friendly usage statistics; it does not use cookies or track individuals across sites. Our error monitoring may capture technical details about a request, such as the page and browser involved, to help us fix problems.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After termination, data is retained for 30 days, during which you may request an export, and is then deleted unless we are legally required to keep it longer. Some data, such as payment records held by Stripe, is retained according to our providers’ legal obligations.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@currntapp.com. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting certain data may mean we can no longer provide the Service to you.
We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), database-level access controls, request rate limiting, and periodic security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
